As far as any technological conversation, i had a homie tell me her little niece can message her all day long, but as soon as she scoops her up from school or something she has nothing to say. Not only is the art of conversation dying, but it seems our youngins don't even learn it from the get go...
Then getting into how these networking sites can ruin a relationship with a significant other... On one hand, i agree that your relationship isn't that strong if FB can break you. FB isn't the devil.. it's the personal tidbits on blast for everyone to see and in some cases, just a jealous significant other that needs to quit cyber stalking!
On the other hand, you must be aware of what you're doing, or what someone else is doing (ie. posts to your wall, giving gifts, etc) and the potential problems from something so insignificant as a website... The potential to hurt something or someone significant in your life. Real talk.
Do any of ya'll remember the day FB introduced the mini-feed? No one knew how to turn that off. Everyone could see who was "in a relationship" with who, who broke up with who, whose wall everyone was posting on and what they wrote. A lot of relationships were ruined that day and even more fights started. LOLOLOLOL. I'm pretty sure most of you know what i'm talking about.
On MSNBC there's an article giving Reasons to ‘unfriend’ your spouse on Facebook. Go ahead, 'unfriend' them, but my suggestion might be not to post mundane things for all to see and to certainly not communicate with those of the opposite sex in a way that would hurt your boo's feelings.
Please don't end up like these poor, jealous people...
