BP3 tees by BBC

So if you are a friend of mine on FB or follower on Twitter you saw that i've been on the BP3 album like so many people. My favorite joint is So Ambitious. This coming week BBC is releasing 3 tees with quotes from that song. I just want the first one. Seriously hot... can the boys club make a feminine version please??

So if you'd like to take a listen you can... Pharrell said he was speaking to speakin to kids. And despite a couple bad words and one line that def could've been better, the anger that drives the ambition is what makes it real. Motivation from those who can't or won't see the possibilities.

CHALK

If you know me very well you would know how much I love baby powder... reminds me of certain people, backpacking in Europe (to touch up my hair;), and my baby... so this commercial isn't new, but had to include it. Love the effects of chalk, powder, and suga!

facebook ruins relationships

So i've had so many conversations lately about the effect of technology and social networking on people and relationships. The effect is actually so much greater and broader than that, but let's concentrate on interpersonal communications and how it is changing right before our eyes.

My iPhone = technology crack. Amen. One of my bestests said she "would never pay $100 for a phone bill, but it's so much more than a phone" to her.

Twitter, this site runs the country and news can spread faster than most could have ever imagined. Good luck PR firms keeping up with that one.

As for Facebook, when are your comments and status updates too much? Do we really want to know when you floss your teeth? Great article in the WSJ about How Facebook Ruins Friendships. Do you have to say good morning or good night to FB or your twitts? I recently saw a newlywed couple post this for all of us to read: he said "good morning" to FB and she commented on his wall "you say good morning to your FB friends, but not to me?" LOL

As far as any technological conversation, i had a homie tell me her little niece can message her all day long, but as soon as she scoops her up from school or something she has nothing to say. Not only is the art of conversation dying, but it seems our youngins don't even learn it from the get go...

Then getting into how these networking sites can ruin a relationship with a significant other... On one hand, i agree that your relationship isn't that strong if FB can break you. FB isn't the devil.. it's the personal tidbits on blast for everyone to see and in some cases, just a jealous significant other that needs to quit cyber stalking!

On the other hand, you must be aware of what you're doing, or what someone else is doing (ie. posts to your wall, giving gifts, etc) and the potential problems from something so insignificant as a website... The potential to hurt something or someone significant in your life. Real talk.

Do any of ya'll remember the day FB introduced the mini-feed? No one knew how to turn that off. Everyone could see who was "in a relationship" with who, who broke up with who, whose wall everyone was posting on and what they wrote. A lot of relationships were ruined that day and even more fights started. LOLOLOLOL. I'm pretty sure most of you know what i'm talking about.

On MSNBC there's an article giving Reasons to ‘unfriend’ your spouse on Facebook. Go ahead, 'unfriend' them, but my suggestion might be not to post mundane things for all to see and to certainly not communicate with those of the opposite sex in a way that would hurt your boo's feelings.

Please don't end up like these poor, jealous people...

What are your thoughts? experiences?
